I am currently looking for a Freelance Design Manager to start in Birmingham ASAP.

This will be working for a main contractor with a split between working on a live project and the head office, which are both in Birmingham. I am ideally looking for someone with experience in Healthcare and/or Education projects. This could potentially turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of CDM and building regulations.
• Minimum 2 years working as a Design Coordinator/Design Manager within construction.
• Experience of using and managing management document systems.
• Ability to be proactive and ability to plan, organise and manage all aspects of design.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement programmes and innovation
• Manage and report on design and designer progress, quality and performance
