O’Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for a Draftsman on behalf of our client, a steel fabrication company based just outside Cork City. They specialise in the design, fabrication, and installation of stairs, balustrades, railings, balconies, structural steel, and any other items that their customers may require.

The successful candidate must have minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Draftsman.

Draftsman Key Responsibilities:

• Initial design of drawings in order to obtain new contracts
• Execute detailed drawings of jobs that will go into the fabrication process
• Manage the distribution and circulation of work from the office to workshop floor to ensure a consistent workflow is achieved.

Draftsman Specific Requirements:

• Qualification in Drafting, Architectural Technology or Similar.
• Knowledge of AutoCad.
• Knowledge of other drawing software is an advantage.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Draftsman.
• 3+ years’ experience working with Steel.
• Must have Fibre Laser Programming Experience
• Own transport is an advantage due to location.
