A leading Construction company, based in West London now have an immediate requirement for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking company who aim to progress and promote their staff within.

Please see below duties of the Purchase Ledger Assistant:

  • Posting of supplier invoices across varies entities within the group
  • Processing invoices and credit notes for both materials and subcontractors
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Maintaining supplier accounts database
  • Investigate any discrepancies on price and/or quantity with supplier, buyer, surveyor or site-based personnel as appropriate.
  • Analyse and approve invoices that have been matched for quantity and price
  • To ensure that the Suppliers are paid within their agreed credit terms
  • Ensure all e-mail enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Investigate and resolve payment queries where required with site / supplier / buyer
  • and provide resolution to issues
  • Build and maintaining business relationships with our suppliers to ensure a premium service

Must Haves:

Familiar with MS Excel, MS Word and Email programs Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritise to deadlines General Accounts experience with accounting software
