Experienced Site Manager - Formwork & Reinforced concrete
I'm working with a very well-known sub-contractor who is working on the formwork and reinforced concrete package for a £100m infrastructure project.
You'll join the Project Manager and Foreman and build a team together to ensure the efficient and safe running of this site which spans over a vast area. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to;
Managing a team of circa 100 workers on site
Ensuring all health & safety guidelines are being adhered to
Carry out regular inspections to guarantee a high quality of work
Deliver talks and explain drawings to groundworkers in your team
Reviewing drawings with main contractors offering feedback and solutions where necessary
To be considered for this role you must have;
Extensive groundworks experience including formworks and reinforced concrete structures
Decent stability - someone who has seen a similar project through to completion
Strong site manager experience within civil engineering
Full First Aid course
Ideally a civil engineering degree
Building rail networks would be highly advantageous
This wouldn’t suit someone who has built roads or worked on residential or small commercial project
An appointed person qualification in lifting operations would be awesome
Our client will consider candidates both on a freelance and permanent basis so would suit someone already working perm or someone who is freelance and wants to go perm after around 3-6 months.
