Our Infrastructure Division are working with thier large Global Infrastructure client to assist in the Recruitment of a Site Agent with significant experience in Heavy Infrastructure/Civils & Highways Construction.

This is a Contract Role and an opportunity to become part of a truly Global Family with the opportunity to work on some of the most Large-scale Infrastructure Projects in the UK.

This key role will effectively Supervise, Manage and Plan all teams on site as well as coordinating and managing Sub Contractors on the site across Carriageways and footways to ensure a safe and compliant process as well as achieving better Productivity and Cost levels.

Key Requirtements :

  • Ensure that all necessary information is communicated to Foreman to ensure an efficient and safe practice
  • Communicate with the client to agree final measures prior to submission of Invoices
  • To ensure that all Labour, vehicles and Materials are managed and coordinated in line with the site requirements
  • Review contracts at all times to ensure that Budget margins are acheived and ensure all variances are discussed with the Senior Management Team
  • Coordinate and carry out all Site Inspections prior to tender and quote submissions
  • Fully responsible for the work on site to be carried out to Company Safety, Enviromental and Quality Standards and to ensure that regular communication is delivered to staff and operatives on all matters
  • Provide road traffic and personal accident reporting and investigations
  • Ensure you are fully compliant with Chapter 8 road work signing and company administrative Procedures
  • Understand COSHH Regulations and communicate to the on site team at all times
  • Ensure that quality assurance procedures are understood and followed
  • Carry out Regular Reviews of non conformance and complaints through the QA System

About you :

Candidates will be required to hold a relevant ONC/HND/HNC Qualificatioin in Construction/Civil Engineering

Significant Understanding of Health & Safety Rules & Regulations

High attention to details

Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with Labour, Sub Contractors and the Client

Extensive experience of Budget control and Commercial matters

Experienc of IT Systems to include Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project Software
