Our Professional & Technical Division are currently looking for a Health & Safety Advisor for a large scale Civil & RC Project based in Liverpool. This position play a significant role in ensuring all Health & Safety aspects are adhered, together with supporting the Project team in the full Health & Safety aspects on site.

Key Criteria:

  • Proven track record of Large scale Civil Projects
  • 5+ Years working as a senior Health & Safety Advisor
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Provide operational management advise on the prevention of accidents, wellbeing, environmental aspects, and to ensure practical implementation of the Company Health & safety Policies
  • Provide Health & Safety Risk Assessments & Method Statements
  • Promote continuous positive Health & Safety culture on site at all times
  • Set the standards and Champion the Management of Health & Safety
  • Provide guidance and support to all staff on Site in regards to best practice and H&S Policies & Procedures
  • Management of the site briefings and inspections
  • Direct communication with Sub Contractors on Site to ensure H&S compliance is met at all times
  • Organise and deliver relevant Health & Safety Training where required including all Site Inductions
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
  • Exceptional Communication skills

Skills and Certification Required:

  • Significant experience in General Health & Safety Principles
  • Degree qualified / HND
  • NEBOSH / IOSH Qualification
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Full UK Drivers License
  • The ability to lead
  • Ability to effectively intervene and challenge behavior
