Job:                      Multi Trade Engineer (Carpentry bias)                  

Location:               South / West London

Salary:                  £32,000 - £38,000 per annum plus vehicle plus package                                      

We are looking for an experienced Engineer, preferably a qualified Carpenter by trade who has a strong portfolio of multi-trade and property maintenance experience and skillset as we will require the candidate to be able to fit laminate/engineered flooring, kitchen worktops, hang doors in addition to other multitude of general property maintenance works. The candidate will be expected to have a knowledge and strong skill set of all types of carpentry and joinery as well as a basic knowledge/understanding of other general building and property maintenance. Reporting is essential therefore strong communication skills with the office team is essential. 

The candidate will be responsible for being punctual, hard-working, aware of well finished work and a strong team player who has great communication skills in order to help jobs run as well as possible.

You will be required to attend different sites/properties across London to complete the issues identified in each property. The majority of the works will be all types of carpentry & general property maintenance works.

All jobs are arranged by the office so the candidate needs to attend and carry out the works as per requirements. We use a software which can be downloaded onto a smart device where your jobs will be sent through to complete detailed reports, photo & video evidence following findings. Vans and clothing to be provided however we expect all engineers to supply their own tools.

Qualifications are strongly preferred in addition with a strong knowledge and experience of carpentry and joinery. We do request the candidate to have a good understanding and knowledge in other general building aspects.

Heavy portfolio in South London and due to increase of traffic and time taken to get to properties around London the candidate needs to ideally be located in South London to avoid extreme travel times.
