We are delighted to announce that we are a finalist of the People Development award category at the Constructing Excellence Awards. This is in recognition of the significant strides we have made internally, as well as the positive and lasting impact our actions have had on the construction industry.

We are immensely proud to have been shortlisted for the final, especially considering the number of entrants to this particular awards category and the caliber of companies we were up against. The next couple of months will undoubtedly be an exciting time as we await the results of the Judging Day that took place last week, which will be announced at the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Thursday June 29th.

So why have we been shortlisted for the final? There are many reasons why O’Neill & Brennan’s entry was considered worthy of selection for the final.

By valuing our staff and developing our people, we have created an environment where people are passionate about the industry they work in and are determined to make a difference. As a business, we collectively recognize the importance of training, developing and retaining our staff, as well as our commitment to making a difference to the community by helping and assisting ex-offenders, ex-military and unemployed people back into work and actively organizing events to promote construction as a career choice.

We focus on not just the training, but the journey beyond. The training is only the start, it’s helping people progress in their careers through continuous mentoring, monitoring and personal development that makes us different. We are looking forward to sharing our empowering and compelling story on the night of the awards and hearing about all of the other great things that are going on within the construction industry.
