Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Steel Fixer to join a commercial project in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the placement of steel reinforcement.

• Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars according to project specifications.

• Ensure all steel reinforcement is securely fixed, meeting safety and quality standards.

• Work closely with other trades and site managers to ensure efficient project delivery.

• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized site at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Blue CSCS card is essential.

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer is essential.

• Strong understanding of reinforcement techniques and steel fixing methods.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Team player with a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.

• Have own tools and PPE
