Site Engineer – Limerick

DOE: €50K – €60K

Company Overview:

A main contractor who have various ongoing projects across the Limerick and Clare regions. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on various projects.

Job Summary:

We are recruiting for a Site Engineer for our client, this is a permanent fulltime position. It would be best suited to a motivated and skilled Site Engineer. The successful candidate will join their team in Limerick, and report to the management team.

Your responsibilities will be as below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Taking levels for the construction of a structural steel frame, finishing concrete, drainage services and roadways etc.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1-3 years’ experience in setting out on construction sites,
• Experience working on Irish water projects desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
