Site Engineer – Blanchardstown

DOE: €70K – €80K + Package  

Overview:

A main contractor with numerous projects across Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on a project in Blanchardstown. The successful candidate will manage site setting out, monitor work quality and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set out works, check materials, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and method statements.
• Liaise with planners, suppliers, and subcontractors to align programmes, technical requirements, and supply chain outputs.
• Contribute to inspection and test plans, RFIs, site audits, and DPD compliance, integrating digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior or trainee engineers, promoting skills development and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain site records, diaries, reports, and manage delivered materials, installations, and pre-start surveys.
• Support safe working practices, snagging/de-snagging, and provide input into measurement, valuation, and handover processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering  
• SMSTS or MSIC certification  
• First Aid training  
• Lifting Supervisor certification  
• Temporary Works Coordinator training  
• Chartered or working towards professional membership with Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Civil Engineers  

Desirable:

• Project Management qualification  
• Training in planning software  
• Current full driving licence
