MEP Engineer – Ballsbridge

 DOE: €70K – €80K + Package

Overview:

Our client, an established main contractor is seeking an MEP Engineer to join their team on a project in Ballsbridge. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and review of MEP designs, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate MEP systems with other disciplines to ensure compliance and constructability
• Support technical problem-solving in design offices and on site
• Assist with planning, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of MEP systems
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and attend project meetings as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement through design efficiency, sustainability, digital tools, and best-practice sharing

Qualifications:

• Degree (or equivalent) in mechanical, electrical, building services, or related field
• Membership or eligibility for a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE, IET, Engineers Ireland)
• Chartered or working toward chartered status (desirable)
• Postgraduate qualification in building services, project management, or sustainability (desirable)
• Training in BIM, digital design, or advanced MEP technologies (desirable)
