Company Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team for an upcoming project in Cork.

Job Summary:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Taking levels and setting out for the construction of the brickwork on site.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in setting out and block work on construction sites.
• Experience working with a main contractor desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
