Senior Engineer – Athlone

DOE: €75k – €85k

Company Overview:

A main contractor with multiple projects throughout Ireland is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team on a new pharmaceutical project in Athlone.

Job Summary:

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6 + years’ experience in setting out on construction sites.
• Experience working on pharmaceutical, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Experience working on high value projects in Ireland or the Uk.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
