A prestigious and well established developer of retirement and assisted living accommodation is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Oxfordshire Head office. The company has experienced a strong period of growth ( turnover and profit) in the past few years with excellent forward prospects resulting in a requirement to strengthen the commercial with this key Senior Quantity Surveyor appointment.
The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director and will be responsible for the profitable management of two projects. Projects are assigned on locality to ensure ease of commute for team members. You will have a sound technical background with applications from Main Contracting or development backgrounds welcomed. The company is undergoing significant modernisation with the introduction of a job architecture to support staff progression as well as ongoing employee initiatives around communication, inclusivity, feedback forums and training program.
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary as well as a generous benefits package. The salary on offer includes a £7000 car allowance , in addition you will be eligible for a 15% annual bonus based on company performance and individual targets. A generous holiday allowance is given which increases with employment tenure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical track record, can evidence profitable projects in their experience and will live within 1 hour of the company head office.
