Senior Quantity Surveyor – Limerick
DOE: €75k – €80k
Job Overview:
A leading contractor in Ireland is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and cost-control functions on a major pharmaceutical project in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost planning, budgeting and forecasting throughout design development and construction phases.
- Manage the tendering process, including preparing bills of quantities and contract documentation.
- Oversee contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and managing any variations or claims.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience working in a similar role, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Sector.
- Proven track record of commercial leadership on projects of substantial value.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
