Are you a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting long term contract to work with a new to the region specialist developer on a fresh to start, Housing Association scheme. Our client is looking to appoint a dynamic and talented Project Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in their upcoming development. 

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all cost management activities on the new build HA scheme. This includes preparing and managing budgets, estimating costs, conducting cost analysis, monitoring expenses, preparing reports and providing expert advice on cost-saving measures. You will work closely with the client, senior management, subcontractors and the site team, ensuring the project is delivered within budget and to the highest of standards. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential sector, with a focus on housing association clients
• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying principles, methods and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, project management software and cost estimating software
