The company has mainly concentrated on building quality new projects in both commercial and residential markets in the Dublin and Leinster area. The company’s projects have ranged from inner city renewable developments and quality residential homes to offices and industrial units. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor.

Your main duties will be as below:

Job Summary:
We are recruiting for a Junior Quantity Surveyor for our Client. This is a permanent, full-time position, and it would be best suited to an ambitious, goal-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will join their team in Dublin and reporting directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
• Conduct cost analysis and assist in estimating project costs.
• Assist in the measurement and valuation of work.
• Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors and project managers to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Keep accurate records of financial transactions and contracts.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3^rd level degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the construction industry.
