BIM Manager – South Dublin
DOE: €60K – €75K + Package
Overview:
Our client, an established main contractor delivering projects across Ireland, is seeking a BIM Manager to join their Dublin office. The successful candidate will lead and support the development and implementation of a DPD strategy from pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify Clients BIM and Digital requirements.
- Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics and cost management.
- Support the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and ensure internal project team and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
- Lead the DPD kick off meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalise the DPD strategy.
- Support the BIM Engineers where required and mentor same as required.
Qualifications:
- Completed a third-level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience utilising Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects / Dalux (or similar CDE), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages.
- High attention to detail with an excellent writing ability.
- Deadline driven with effective time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal management software with a readiness to adapt to new technologies as needed.
