Senior Planner – Ballsbridge
DOE: €95K – €110K
Overview:
Our client, an established main contractor delivering projects across Ireland, is seeking a Lead Planner to join their Dublin team. The successful candidate will oversee business-wide planning and project controls, ensuring consistent programme delivery and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and control of baseline and target programmes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring clear logic and critical paths.
- Monitor progress, maintain as-built records, track subcontractor schedules, assess risks, and implement mitigation measures to support timely delivery.
- Develop tender and supply chain programmes, integrating design releases, lead-in activities, resources, and construction durations.
- Prepare 2D/4D visualisations, dashboards, and reports, and support change requests, Monte Carlo simulations, and schedule compliance assessments.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimise construction methodology, sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation, providing expert input on programme entitlements.
- Manage, mentor, and review assistant and graduate planners, ensuring quality, consistency, and benchmarking of planning outputs across all project phases.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or the equivalent
- Certification or training in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6)
Desirable:
- Membership of a relevant professional body (CIOB, ICE, APM)
- Advanced training in planning, contract management, BIM/Synchro, or people management
