Company Overview:
O’Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting an Operations Project Planner for our client. This candidate will join their dynamic team and play a key role in the successful delivery of Energy Retrofit projects. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, expanding and rewarding environment. The Operations Project Planner will join their team in Meath.
Job Summary:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and establish baselines.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines and client specifications.
- Allocate resources (labour, materials, equipment) efficiently to prevent bottlenecks and ensure optimal utilisation.
- Track project progress, identify critical path and advise on corrective actions.
- Collaborate with site managers, surveyors, and other professionals to resolve issues and achieve project milestones.
- Organise and coordinate the ordering, transportation and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Use scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Excel) to manage project data and reporting.
- Produce progress reports and forecasts for clients and stakeholders, highlighting key risks and milestones.
- Support change management processes by updating schedules and reallocating resources as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to business process improvement and the implementation of best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A third-level degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in project planning or scheduling within the industry.
- Proven track record managing project schedules.
- Experience with industry-standard planning tools and strong IT skills.
