The Opportunity
O’Neill & Brennan is a £100m+ construction recruitment business with 14 offices across the UK and Ireland. We are firmly established across Blue Collar, Logistics, and Security, and now investing heavily in the growth of our White Collar division.
We’re looking for an experienced recruiter with a proven track record in White Collar construction to take the lead in driving this growth from our Leeds office. This isn’t a “plug and play” desk – it’s a chance to take ownership, build client relationships at a senior level, and shape a high-performing division with the backing of a national brand.
What You’ll Do
Lead business development across White Collar construction, opening new accounts and strengthening existing ones
Take full ownership of the recruitment cycle with senior candidates and clients
Provide leadership and direction within the White Collar team, setting standards and driving performance
Work closely with Directors to influence strategy and help build a market-leading division
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience in recruitment, ideally within White Collar construction
Proven success in business development and client relationship management
Commercially minded, target-driven, and capable of building a profitable desk/division
Strong leadership qualities — able to inspire others and lead from the front
Ambition to step beyond billing into shaping and growing a team/division
What You’ll Get
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
Flexibility on package for the right hire
Direct mentorship and support from our leadership team
Genuine scope to build and lead a division as part of our growth strategy
Benefits including hybrid working, Vitality Health Insurance, Life Assurance, laptop & phone
This is a role for someone who wants more than a desk — it’s about building a business within a business.
