General Foreman

General Foreman – Laois 

DOE: €23 – €28 PH

Job Summary:

A well-established Construction Contractor who requires a General Foreman for a new residential project starting in Laois. This is an initial contract role with a view to a permanent position.

Your responsibilities will be as below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site.
• Management of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained.
• Ensuring quality of works.
• Reporting work progress to Senior level Management
• Coordinate the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years’ General Foreman experience.
• Trade background preferable.
• Background in residential housing.
• Proven record of seeing projects through from greenfield to completion.
• Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
