Company Overview:

An Irish owned family main contractor that has projects in the Cork and Munster regions. Due to continued business growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Foreman.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman for our client. The position is a full-time role working on a new build residential project in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring project completion on schedule and to required standards.
• Manage and direct site personnel and subcontractors on site.
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all work meets required specifications through regular quality checks.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to optimise costs and efficiency.
• Liaise with Site/Project Managers and clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Trade background with residential experience.
• Good understanding of construction processes and technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
