Works are beginning this month on a major upgrade to the wastewater network along Balheary Road, Swords. This investment by Uisce Éireann will play a vital role in supporting the community – making it possible to deliver 2,980 new homes and ensuring the area can growth sustainably into the future.
The project will significantly increase capacity in the local network, improving system performance, reducing pressure on existing infrastructure, and helping to deliver the homes and services the Swords community needs.
Welcoming the start of construction, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage James Browne TD highlighted the importance of essential infrastructure in unlocking new housing and supporting thriving communities.
