A Dublin based construction firm has been given the green light to further ease Westmeath’s housing demand through the building of over 20 new homes in Delvin.
The development, which had been originally submitted last February, provides for 21 three and four bedroom homes in six “terrace-style” blocks on a near two acre site along the town’s Athboy Road at Castledowndevlin.
Architects for Melvin Properties Limited said the proposed development’s design layout would enhance a “sense of community” within its confines while also ensuring an efficient and “aesthetically pleasing” streetscape.
