Laois County Council has received a planning application for the construction of 32 new homes in Ballylinan.
De Bhal Construction Ltd. are seeking planning permission for the construction of 32 additional homes in the existing Rahin Towers estate in Ballylinan, County Laois.
The new homes would be built on an undeveloped parcel of land within the estate that has been vacant since the 2008 construction crash.
According to the application, the development "represents a significant upgrade to the public realm, including the removal of redundant hammerheads and the comprehensive re-landscaping of open spaces to create a high-quality, integrated neighbourhood."
