A new safety campaign is be launched to tackle falls on construction sites and to strengthen site culture.
The Construction Industry Federation's 2025 construction safety campaign, "Back to Basics", runs from today to 24 October and encourages construction companies across Ireland to revisit the core principles that keep workers safe.
"Over the past ten years, 70 construction workers in Ireland have lost their lives due to falls from height, with six more fatalities this year recorded, most of them linked to falls," said Sean Downey, Director of Safety and Training at the Construction Industry Federation.
