A Dublin-based construction firm has been given the go-ahead to undertake one of the largest residential developments to come on stream in county Meath in recent times with the construction of over 170 houses and apartments in Dunboyne.

The decision by Meath County Council’s planning department to sanction those plans on a near 12 acre (net) greenfield site just off the town’s Old Navan Road is expected to cost its developers Carroll Estates Dunboyne Ltd an eight figure sum to bring to fruition.
