DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL has inked a deal with a construction company to build the majority of the homes in a new development in Inchicore, Dublin 8, which are expected to be completed by January 2028.
DCC announced the signing of the contract with Elliott Building & Civil Engineering Ltd. today, saying the firm has been hired to build 487 homes in a mixed-tenure housing development, as well as a creche and library.
The planned development, named An Droichead Órga, is eventually expected to comprise 578 “cost-rental and social homes designed to meet growing housing needs while fostering a vibrant, inclusive community”.
