Cork City has commenced the least number of homes in the first two months of the year in 2025 than it has in eight years.
Just 30 homes were commenced in the city in the first two months of 2025, compared to 443 in 2024, 131 in 2023, and 264 in 2022.
Meanwhile, Cork County commenced the least amount of homes in January and February of 2025 in four years.
