Construction workers are set to mount pickets at the delay-hit National Children’s Hospital site tomorrow in a row over a travel payment.

The Unite union has announced that members including plumbers, fitters, welders and apprentices will mount pickets outside the construction site.

The union said the Mechanical Engineering and Building Services Contractors' Association (MEBSCA) had made an “approach” this week to resolve the dispute, but its disputes committee decided that there will be a further full-day stoppage from midnight tonight.
