Construction is set to begin on a new all-weather sports campus in east Galway after the project secured funding.
New Inn, Co Galway, will soon have a new sports facility featuring an all-weather astro pitch, tennis court, MUGA (multi-use games area) pitch and grass-based pitch as €1.5m was allocated under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund.
Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with the facility aiming to open its doors in spring 2027.
