Construction of the second core bus corridor under Dublin’s BusConnects programme is moving closer, with public information events taking place this month ahead of site investigation works along the Ballymun–Finglas route.

The Ballymun/Finglas to city centre scheme, which will deliver 22km of dedicated bus priority and more than 20km of new cycling infrastructure, is the second of 12 planned core bus corridors across the capital and follows the Liffey Valley route, which has now entered construction.

As part of the next phase, the BusConnects Dublin team will host a series of public information events in Ballymun and Finglas this month, offering residents an opportunity to view detailed drawings, interactive maps and visualisations of the completed scheme, and to engage directly with engineers and project staff.
