Construction on a new Tralee courthouse will begin by 2031, the Courts Service has told The Kerryman.
The courthouse on the Island of Geese will hold Central Criminal Court and High Court sittings, in addition to District Court and Circuit Court hearings that include criminal, civil and family law matters.
Work will commence “at the soonest opportunity”, subject to government and planning approval, said a spokesperson from the Courts Service.
