Construction activity falls for second month in a row

New data shows that construction activity fell for the second month in a row in June. BNP Paribas Real Estate Total Construction PMI Index fell from 49.8 to 47.5. This is largely due to a fall in commercial activity, large projects being completed such as Coopers Cross and Wilton Park are key factors to this. However, housing activity rose in June – the fourth month in a row.
