Construction to begin for Killarney Homes
A large housing development consisting of 249 homes in Killarney has been giving the green light to begin construction immediately. Of the 249 homes 143 will be house and the other 106 units will consist of apartments. The eight-hectare site located in the Cronin’s Wood area is to be developed by KPH Construction.
Sisk Appointed to Astellas Pharma Facility
Astellas Pharma €330 million pharmaceutical facility will be constructed by John Sisk & Son. Located at the IDA’s greenfield site in Tralee this project will see the creation of 600 new construction jobs over the course of the build. Commencement of the facility is expected to begin in the coming weeks with an aim of having the first phase of development operational in Q3 of 2027.
Bus Éireann goes to tender
Bus Éireann has gone to tender on temporary bus depot in the Tivoli Docks in Cork. The €10 million project is set to be a standalone maintenance depot will facilitate 400 bus drivers and help start the rollout of the BusConnects project. The temporary depot is set to be operational in 2025.
