Construction has commenced on the Corballis East development in Donabate, Co Dublin, one of the largest residential developments in Ireland in recent years.
Meitheal Architects has partnered with Cairn Homes to begin building 607 of the 1,074 planned homes after planning permission was granted in March.
The development will consist of 171 apartments of varying sizes across seven blocks, one of which will be an age-friendly sheltered housing block; 399 terraced apartments, duplexes and triplexes; and 504 homes ranging from two to five bedrooms.
