Construction has begun on a €1.2million project in Tipperary to deliver a world-class watersports facility on the shores of Lough Derg.
The new watersports facility in Dromineer has been developed by Fáilte Ireland in association with Tipperary County Council, and aims to enhance the visitor experience and serve as a central hub for outdoor activities in Tipperary.
As well as enhancing the visitor experience, the new hub also aims to extend the tourism season, with year-round hot showers, changing rooms, toilets, secure storage, and induction space.
