Gort Road is leading Ennis to a more resilient water supply as Uisce Éireann completes replacement of over 300m of aged water mains with new modern pipes.
The replacement of these water mains will improve service to customers, eliminate existing leaks along that section of the network and reduce the amount of clean drinking water which is lost into the ground every day for the Ennis community.
Speaking about the project, Jack Cronin, Uisce Éireann Programme Manager, welcomes the completion of these works, saying,
