This month will see Uisce Éireann commencing works as part of a €5.9 million project to upgrade the wastewater network in Wicklow town.

As Wicklow town continues to grow and develop, its wastewater network requires improvements to ensure it can reliably meet environmental standards and support future needs, including planned residential development enabling the town and community to thrive.

The project will focus on the Bollarney area of the town, with the first section of the works to take place along the R750 from Bollarney Woods as far as Abbey Street, involving the installation of 800 metres of new pipeline.
