Site Manager – Limerick
D.O.E: €70k - €80k
Overview:
Our client, a main contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a range of construction projects from New Builds, Civils and Fit-Outs in County Limerick. Candidates with strong civils and structural experience will be particularly well suited to this position.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager and oversee day-to-day site operations across a range of projects.
- Manage works across new build, civil engineering, structural, and fit-out projects, ensuring delivery is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff to meet programme deadlines.
- Maintain site records including daily diaries, reports, RFIs, NCRs, and related documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Ensure quality control, carry out inspections, and maintain clean and safe work areas at all times.
- Attend site meetings and utilise company systems such as Procore.
Requirements:
- Degree or trade background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 5+ years’ experience working on civils, structural, new build and fit-out projects.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, and multiple trades on busy project environments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of current building regulations, health & safety standards, and quality procedures.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility in delivering projects safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
