Senior Setting Out Engineer – Meath

DOE: €60k – €70K

Company Overview:

Our client, an Irish contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on an upcoming commercial project in Meath.

Job Summary:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Taking levels for the construction of a structural steel frame, finishing concrete, drainage services and roadways etc.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in setting out on construction sites.
• Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects in Ireland or the Uk.
• Experience working with a main contractor desirable but not essential.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
