Senior Engineering Surveyor – Dublin
D.O.E: €55k – €65k
Company Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to support the delivery of major civil engineering projects in Dublin. The role will involve planning and carrying out a range of engineering surveys, including control, topographical, setting-out, as-built, scanning and monitoring surveys.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engineering surveys across rail and civil projects, including topographical, setting-out, as-built, scanning, control and monitoring surveys.
- Operate and maintain GNSS, robotic total stations, precise levels, scanners and laser levels.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and BIM models to develop effective survey methodologies.
- Process and validate survey data, producing accurate drawings, reports and technical information.
- Provide technical guidance to junior surveyors and site teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining quality, safety and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in rail/civil engineering surveying on complex infrastructure projects.
- Proficient with modern survey equipment and software.
- Able to interpret drawings, specifications and BIM models for accurate survey and setting-out.
- Rail experience and knowledge of safety standards/procedures desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to manage workloads independently across site and office environments.
- Relevant surveying, geomatics or civil engineering qualification, or equivalent experience.
