Project Manager – Longford
DOE: €80k – €95k
Overview:
Our client, a main contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of construction projects across County Longford. Candidates with experience delivering construction projects acts a variety of sectors will be particularly well suited to this role.
Job Summary:
- Manage projects through all stages including planning, procurement, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects including new build, fit out, civil, commercial, residential developments.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and design teams to clarify project requirements and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures, and quality standards across all project activities.
- Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain programme targets and high construction quality standards.
- Prepare monthly reports for Project Review meetings.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering and/or Construction Management.
- 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor is desired.
- Excellent knowledge of current building regulations and construction best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail & keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Experience managing projects across a range of construction sectors is advantageous.
