Business Development Manager (Construction) – North Dublin

Job Overview:
Our client is a well-established contractor delivering projects nationwide and is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their head office team in North Dublin.
Job Summary:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
- Track market activity, pipelines, and upcoming tenders to support growth planning.
- Lead early-stage engagement and support procurement and bid strategies.
- Work closely with bid, estimating, and delivery teams to ensure successful tender submissions.
- Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 5–10 years’ experience in business development or sales within construction.
- Extensive experience in the construction industry with a strong network of industry contacts.
- Proven track record in generating and winning new business, particularly in major projects across multiple procurement routes.
- Excellent client relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Commercially aware, with understanding of construction costs, contracts, and tendering processes.
- Confident in preparing proposals, bids, and capability statements.
