Finishing Foreman – Ratoath

Salary: €75K

 

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennen are recruiting a Finishing Foreman on Behalf of our client on a project in Ratoath. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and coordinate all internal and external finishing works across residential units and communal areas.
  • Supervise and direct finishing subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Carry out regular quality inspections, identify defects, and manage snagging works to achieve timely close-out.
  • Coordinate finishing activities with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures, and site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, quality inspections, snag lists, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate the completion, inspection, and handover of residential units, ensuring each property is delivered to the required standard.
  • Support final client inspections and ensure all outstanding defects are rectified prior to practical completion

 

What you’ll need:

  • Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management and/ or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Significant experience working on residential / commercial projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of trades, and in particular, carpentry
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
