Finishing Foreman – Athlone

D.O.E: €65K – €75K

 

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Finishing Foreman on behalf of our client for a new housing development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finishing works on site, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, on programme, and in compliance with health & safety and quality requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate finishing trades and subcontractors across the development.
  • Supervise and direct subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Ensure all finishing works meet the required quality standards.
  • Carry out snagging inspections and ensure all snag lists are completed and closed out efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design teams, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and identify any issues or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Foreman or Supervisory role.
  • Trade background preferably within construction.
  • Strong experience in internal finishing works.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction trades and finishing processes.
  • Experience working on residential or new-build housing developments is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, building regulations, and site procedures.
  • Ability to achieve demanding programme, quality, and safety targets.
