Contracts Manager – Meath
D.O.E: €85K – €100K
Job Summary:
O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Contracts Manager on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will join their team and support with a range of construction projects throughout North Leinster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the project without delays.
- Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts.
- Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors.
- Liaise with site managers and schedule work as well as monitoring site operations.
- Ability to liaise and coordinate seamlessly with multiple levels of Staff, Departments, Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.
- Building successful relationships with Clients, Client Representatives and other 3rd party providers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects across all phases, ensuring quality, safety and commercial objectives are achieved.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering or relevant project experience.
- Must have experience working on residential projects.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a main contractor in Ireland.
- Proven record of managing construction projects from inception to handover.
- Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
- Experience across residential, commercial, industrial, civil, fit-out projects would be advantageous.
