Assistant Construction Site Manager – Kildare

DOE:  €40k - €50k

Company Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are hiring an Assistant Construction Site Manager on behalf of our client, to support their team on a new project in Leixlip, County Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to join a growing team and gain valuable experience with a main contractor.

Job Summary:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project.
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
  • Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to support the site manager in monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring key project milestones are achieved.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Trade/Engineering or construction management qualification
  • 2+ years’ experience working in construction for a contractor in Ireland or the UK
  • Hold current Safepass
  • Clean, Full driving licence
  • Capable of managing all aspects of the works, be dynamic and eager to drive projects forward
  • High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong excel skills.
  • Confident proactive and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with and manage clients
